Industry expertise
Real estate & development
Starting my B2B career as a contractor for the National Association of Realtors, I gained a deep respect for real estate professionals and the impact of the industry on our economy and built world. Moving into for-profit publishing and SaaS, I’ve spent more than a decade serving the real estate sector with everything from long-form magazine articles and website copy to lead-generation and funneling. I also have deep experience in the strategy behind reaching real estate agents, brokers, developers, mortgage bankers and consumers, from event planning to nuanced SEO and AI search solutions to site architecture that resonates.
B2B, tech & product marketing
I understand how to attract and upsell B2B prospects with sticky social, provocative thought leadership, authoritative content and lead magnets. I also have a knack for moving those leads down the funnel with email nurture campaigns, product battle cards, objection handlers and sales scripts. Finally, my time managing a team of writers creating bespoke content targeted at hiring developers and other product roles provided a unique understanding of technical audiences that’s hard to find in the creative field.
Associations & nonprofits
In my eight years at NAR, the real estate industry was roiled by recession, massive lawsuits and internal strife. I gained not only valuable crisis management experience but also an incredible respect for the work of real estate professionals all over the world. To keep members happy, engaged and out of trouble, I incorporated empathy, connection opportunities and real value in everything I created.
I routinely translate this deep expertise to other organizations and nonprofits, with particular passion for facilitating community building, equity, sustainable development, and new urbanism. I currently volunteer as the co-chair of the communications committee for CNU Chicago and serve as the director of communications for Unite for Our Schools — Albany Park.
Small, local businesses
I love helping solopreneurs grow into small businesses and budding enterprises reach new audiences. Whether you’re three weeks late sending your monthly newsletter or your new designer is in desperate need of a brand book to guide their work, I’m excited to sit down with you and learn how I can help make your audacious goals a reality.
I’ve lived in the beautiful neighborhood of Albany Park, Chicago, since 2014. Not only do I get to wake up in the most diverse ZIP code in the city every day, but I’m also proud to have founded my business in a community with a long history of entrepreneurship and creativity. If you’re a small business owner up here on the northwest side looking for content or marketing help, I would love to talk about how I can help you make our neighborhood and city an even more vibrant place to live, shop and play.
